Music Legend Buzz Cason, founder of Nashville’s first rock ‘n’ roll band “The Casuals” as well as a noted singer, songwriter, author and producer, will bring a special evening of rock ‘n roll, country and surf music to the Franklin Theatre in Franklin/Nashville, TN on Sat., April 21 at 8 p.m. The Buzz Cason and The Love Notes: “Living The Rock ‘N’ Roll Dream” event will feature music from Cason as well as performances by opening act Anthony Crawford and Savana Lee Crawford of Sugarcane Jane.

Director Peter Jackson announced yesterday that Evangeline Lilly of “Lost” fame has been cast as a Mirkwood elf maiden in the two-part “The Hobbit,” the prequel to “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

Christian author J.R.R. Tolkien’s timeless classic book “The Hobbit” is finally going to see the light of day as a two-part movie adaptation some 6 years after it was first announced that MGM would film “The Hobbit.”

‘The Hobbit’ Movie Release Dates & Titles Announced: ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ & ‘The Hobbit: There and Back Again’ 

 

Great and long-expected news for fans of “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit!” The movers and shakers behind the two-film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien‘s “The Hobbit” (New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures and MGM) have finally announced the titles and release dates for Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit.” The first film will be called “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” and will release on December 14, 2012. The second film, titled “The Hobbit: There and Back Again,” will come out the following year, scheduled for December 13, 2013.
