Joni Eareckson Tada, known for her advocacy on behalf of the disabled, will be honored with the prestigious Wilberforce Award during the annual Wilberforce Weekend held March 30-April 1 in Lansdowne, Va.

Tenth Avenue North already decking the halls with new music video

Tenth Avenue North has just released the new music video for “Deck the Halls” from GRAMMY nominated, Gold-selling artist Tenth Avenue North.  The video, written and directed by Tenth Avenue North and Ry Cox, accompanies the “Deck the Halls” single, now at radio.  The “Deck the Halls” track is also featured on WOW Christmas (2011), featuring this year’s top 32 Christian artists and holiday songs

Tenth Avenue North saw its sophomore album, The Light Meets The Dark, debut in May 2010 at No. 1 on the Nielsen Christian SoundScan chart and No. 15 on the Billboard Top 200 with first week scans of 21,583. As reported in Tenth Avenue North ‘The Light Meets The Dark’ hits No. 1 on Christian SoundScan chart, the album also secured the No.1 Christian Album chart position at both iTunes and AmazonMP3.

Nashville’s 32nd Oktoberfest celebrates faith, friendship & fun

Nashville’s 32nd annual Oktoberfest took place on Oct. 8 in the historic Germantown community. Hosted by the Church of the Assumption and Monroe Street United Methodist Church, Oktoberfest is a free, not-for-profit event with proceeds going to the continuing restoration of historic Assumption Catholic Church and Monroe Street United Methodist Church, as well as continuing outreach projects for the needy.
